Beaverdam Christian Reformed Church
JOIN US FOR WORSHIP SUNDAYS @ 9:30am & 6pm
The church community of Beaverdam Christian Reformed Church invites you to worship on Sunday mornings while surrounded by caring hearts and welcoming faces and voices. Our worship style is reverent and traditional as we use an organ and piano (we love our hymn books!). We love singing the Psalms, the great hymns of the faith, and make use of modern-day hymnody as well. Our preaching is always out of God's Word as we listen to ancient biblical doctrines and truths applied to today's challenges, and we believe in the importance of prayer as part of our worship.
Morning Series: Our World Belongs to God Evening Series: The Book of Ephesians
Upcoming Church Activities
This morning in our sermon series going through the Contemporary Testimony we explore matters of work, school, and leisure, things that take up a lot of our time in life. How ought we to orient our work, learning, and leisure in the light of Jesus and what He came to do?
Children from 3 years old – 5th grade will start out meeting in the Junior Chapel for some singing, and then will go with their teachers to their classrooms after that. All other classes start shortly after the morning worship service ends.
This evening in our sermon series exploring the book of Ephesians we receive instructions about living wisely as children of light in the dark and foolish world. What are some more specifics given to us by the Holy Spirit about what that sort of life looks like, particularly realizing that life is short?
Children from 3 years old – 5th grade will start out meeting in the Junior Chapel for some singing, and then will go with their teachers to their classrooms after that. All other classes start shortly after the morning worship service ends.
This Good Friday @ 7:00 p.m. will be our annual Good Friday worship service (D.V.). We will be celebrating together the Lord’s Supper at that time and so will be taking time this week to prepare ourselves to come to the Lord’s table.
This morning for our sermon series on “The Biggest Story” we come to a parable which reveals to us what Jesus had to say to His disciples about His death and resurrection. Why do those sad but then joyful emotions also mirror our emotions when we think about the death and future resurrections of our loved ones who die in the Lord?
