This morning for our sermon we finish up our sermon series on “The Biggest Story,” exploring the “now what?” question as the Apostle Paul helped ‘spiritual folks’ in Athens begin to understand that Jesus is the hero to the questions other religions try to answer.
This evening for our sermon series going through the book of Revelation we will be invited to be a part of the biggest wedding in the history of mankind.
We meet tonight for our final Sunday night gathering of the season. The leaders will be serving a full meal with dessert, so please take along an appetite. After our meal together we will finish up with our end-of-the-year “Points Auction.”
Our Young People’s group will be holding their final fundraising meal of the season on Tuesday, May 6 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. We will have our annual “Hamburger – French Fry” supper here at church, with fresh burgers cooked over hot charcoals and Visser Farms freshly-cut potato French fries deep fried on site. We will also have hotdogs, too, followed up with some Root Beer Floats for dessert. We are raising money for our youth group fund for the year as well as to help cover costs for our summer RYS Convention in July at Wheaton College. Please invite family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors for some good food and some good fellowship.
