This evening we start up a new evening sermon series that will go through the summer season, examining the themes and people of the book of Job. Job is a well-known book about the unknowable sovereign ways of God, particularly in relation to life’s hardships and sufferings. Tonight we hear about the disasters which befell Job and the role of God (and the devil) in them, as well as Job’s response to his losses and suffering.
